Applications are invited from Resident Indian Nationals including OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) for admission to the courses mentioned hereunder for January 2015 Session through On-line Registration ONLY.

[B][U]M.D./M.S. COURSES (118 Seats)[/U][/B]: Anaesthesiology (8+2*), Anatomy (3 ), Biochemistry (3), Blood Transfusion & Immuno Hematology (1+1*), Community Medicine (3), Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology (3), Emergency Medicine (3+2*), Forensic Medicine (2), General Medicine (10), Microbiology (5), Nuclear Medicine (1), Pathology (3), Pediatrics (8+1*), Pharmacology (3), Physiology (4), Psychiatry (2+1*), Pulmonary Medicine (2), Radio-diagnosis (3),Radiotherapy (4),General Surgery(12+1*), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (12+1*), Ophthalmology (6), Orthopedic Surgery (3 +1*) and Oto-Rhino Laryngology (E.N.T.) [B][U](a) Nationality [/U][/B]:
[B][U]i) Indian Nationals (IN)[/U][/B]:-
Applicant must be an Indian National.

[B][U]ii) For Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)[/U][/B]:-
OCI registered under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 are also eligible to appear in this test and all terms and conditions applicable for Indian Nationals given in this Prospectus will be applicable to them. The candidate should submit proof of Registration as OCI under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 at the time of counseling.

iii) Foreign Nationals (FN)
Foreign candidates are required to route their application through the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. All foreign nationals will have to take prior permission from the Medical Council of India before applying for postgraduate Courses in the Institute. An advance copy of the application AND copy of request to MCI must be submitted at JIPMER, Puducherry before the last date of receipt of applications. In the events of selection, the candidate has to apply for temporary registration with the medical council of India for the duration of postgraduate study.

[B][U](b) Educational Qualification[/U][/B]:
The candidates must possess MBBS or an equivalent Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.

[B][U](c) Experience[/U][/B]:
A candidate must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating internship/Practical training on or before 31 st December 2014 [*Candidates not completing the internship on or before 31-12-2014 need not apply for January 2015 session. No condonation of Compulsory Rotating Internship beyond this date shall be accepted].

1) Candidates seeking admission to entrance examination is required to apply on-line.

3) Read the prospectus and instruction carefully.
4) The flow chart for filling application on-line given as Appendix in the Prospectus.
5) The candidate should acquaint himself/herself with all requirements with regard to filling up the application on-line.
6) Mode of payments are a) Net Banking, b) Credit Card, c) Debit Card

[B][U]7) DISCLAIMER[/U][/B]: 
1. Mere completion of “REGISTRATION FOR PAYMENT” does not confer right for issue of hall ticket.
2. The process of submission of application On-line is completed only after clicking the “submit button” after Up loading personal details, Scanned Photograph and Scanned Signature (Refer to the Flow chart appended to the prospectus).
3. The candidate is advised to download a copy of their filled in application which would contain Application No., Personal details, scanned photograph, scanned signature and the payment details.
4. Fees would not be refunded under any circumstances.
5. No request for change in the details provided in the application would be considered, after the submission of the On-line application by clicking the “submit button”.
6. Incomplete application, application with false details would be rejected
