Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for the following posts in Lok Sabha Secretariat

[B][U]1. Name of the post [/U][/B]:  Stenographer (English /Hindi) 
[B][U]Pay Scale [/U][/B]: Rs. 9300-34800 (PB-2) + GRADE PAY: Rs. 4200
[B][U]No. of post [/U][/B]: 41  [Eng. -33, Hindi-08]
[B][U]Qualifications & Experience[/U][/B]:   Stenographer Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university and possessing a minimum shorthand speed of 80 words per minute in English/Hindi. 
[B][U]Desirable[/U][/B]: Certificate in computer course recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)/Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses(DOEACC) or courses equivalent to 'O' Level in terms of syllabus and duration of course as prescribed by DOEACC. 
[B][U]Selection Procedure[/U][/B]:
i) Preliminary Examination
ii) Descriptive Type Written Paper and Stenography Test

[B][U]2.  Name of the post [/U][/B]: Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade)
[B][U]Pay Scale [/U][/B]: Rs. 5200-20200 (PB-1) + GRADE PAY: Rs. 2400

[B][U]Qualifications & Experience[/U][/B]:  
  (i) Matriculation or equivalent; 
  (ii) A valid commercial LMV/HMV licence; and
  (iii) Skill and experience in driving motor vehicles
[B][U]Selection Procedure[/U][/B]:
i.  Written Test
ii. Trade Test

[B][U]Age Limit[/U][/B]: Upper age limit is 27 years for both the posts
