BHEL's Transmission Business Group of Industry Sector is on the lookout for Supervisors in Civil Engineering Discipline to be engaged on Fixed Tenure Basis for its TBG Project Sites located in various parts of the Country.They will be engaged for a period of two years or completion of the Site, whichever is earlier.

[B][U]Position     [/U][/B]: Supervisors (Civil)-FTA
       [B][U]No.of Posts [/U][/B]:     TEN (10)
       [B][U]Upper Age Limit [/U][/B]:      32 years (As on 01.09.2014)
       
 [B][U]Qualification [/U][/B]:      Full time Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate for General / OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
[B][U]Experience  [/U][/B]:     Work experience of minimum One year in civil work of industrial construction projects/substations/switch yards/power house involving surveying, Geo- technical investigations and experience in construction of foundations, cable trenches, control room buildings, roads, drains etc. is desirable. Exposure to Structural Design and AUTOCAD is desirable.
       
       [B][U]Tenure of Appointment   [/U][/B]:     Two (2) years or completion of the Site, whichever is earlier
       [B][U]Compensation  [/U][/B]:     Rs.23,370/- per month. (For first year - to be valid for one year from the date of engagement). The compensation for the 2nd year of engagement will be decided later.
       [B][U]Medical benefits      [/U][/B]: Reimbursement of premium for Mediclaim Policy of Rs.2 lakhs for self and family members.

[B][U]Selection Process      [/U][/B]: 
1.If the number of eligible applicants is in the ratio of up to 1:10 to the number of vacancies, Personal Interviews shall be conducted for all the eligible candidates. However, if the number of eligible applicants is in excess of the ratio of 1:10 to the number of vacancies, the number of candidates will be restricted for Personal Interview on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in Diploma examination.
2. Interviews for the shortlisted candidates will be conducted at Delhi and Chennai/Trichy. Candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro second class sleeper train fare from the mailing address or the starting station, whichever is nearer to the place of Interview by the shortest route, on production of proof of journey.

[B][U]Fee [/U][/B]: A non -refundable fee of Rs.100/- (Rs. One Hundred only) is payable by the General/OBC candidates. The fee can be paid in any of the branches of State Bank of India, into Power Jothi A/C no. 30796267034 at SBI-HE, Kailasapuram (code no.01363)help. The tripilicate challan for payment of fee of Rs.100/- may be downloaded from the website. The journal given by the bank on payment of fee needs to be entered in the application form. The challan copy wherever applicable (BHEL copy only),needs to be attached with the Application and sent to BHEL along with other documents .No other mode of payment i.e., Demand Draft, Money order,Postal order, Cheque etc., is acceptable.Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and Physically Challenged candidates are exempted from paying the fee

ii)     After successful submission, candidates will be required to take a print-out of the acknowledgement slip which will be generated by the system and will contain a unique acknowledgement number. This acknowledgement slip along with all the required documents and fee challan (BHEL copy) may be sent in an envelope superscribed with "Application for the post of F.T.A. Supervisors (Civil) - TBG Project Site" to the following address;
