ST, SC, SCA, MBC/DNC, BC and BCM candidates are eligible for selection under Open Competition as per merit in addition to the reservation made for those categories. (For details, refer Prospectus)

    Individual call letters have been despatched by Post.
    Individual intimation by way of SMS is also sent to the mobile number given by the candidates in their application.
    Allotment of seats depends on the rank and availability of seats.
    Candidates, even if they do not receive the Counselling call letter, they can attend the counselling as per the date and time and cut-off mark mentioned in the schedule.
    Admission will be based on merit, following the Rule of Reservation.
    Selection shall be made under seven categories namely OC, BC, BCM, MBC & DNC, SC, SCA and ST following the rule of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
    
    [B][U]Counselling processing fee[/U][/B]: Candidates have to pay a Counselling fee of Rs.2000/- (Rs.1000/- for SC/SCA/ST Candidates) by cash or DD in favour of “The Registrar, Annamalai University” Payable at Chennai at the time of counselling.  The counselling fee is not refundable.

Candidate should bring the originals and 2 sets of photocopies of the following Certificates / Documents while attending counselling.

1.     10th Marksheet 
2.     H.Sc / Equivalent Marksheet
3.     UG, PG Marksheet and Provisional/ Degree Certificate
4.     Ph.D., M.Phil. Provisional/ Degree Certificate
5.     NSS Certificate (2 year enrollment with 7 days camp at College level)
6.     NCC Certificate (B/C Certificate at College level)
7.     Sports Certificate (Represented the College at State/National Level)
8.     Latest Transfer Certificate
9.     Permanent Community Certificate Card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC and BCM
10.   Nativity Certificate (if applicable)
11.   Income Certificate (if applicable)
12.   First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration (if applicable) 
13.   Recent Passport Size Photographs (3 Numbers)
14.   Physical fitness certificate optained from a Govt. Civil surgen/ Civil asst. surgen
    Issue of Counselling call letter or attending counselling does not guarantee Admission to Programmes.  Admission depends on rank and availability of seats and fulfillment of eligibility criteria. In total there are 300 seats for B.Ed.
    Candidates are advised to see the Prospectus for Fee structure and other details.
    In the event of candidates being selected, the admission formalities including payment of fees shall be completed on or before 28.08.2014.
    Candidates are informed to read the instructions given in the Counselling call letter and prospectus carefully.
    Candidates are advised to be present in the Counselling session, one hour before the scheduled time, with their original certificates for verification.
    University reserves the right to admission, subject to eligibility criteria and norms.
    Candidates can download the Couselling call letter from 20.08.2014 onwards from the official website by entering their Registration number (ie. OMR/Application number given by the University) and Date of Birth.
    Candidates shall only opt for the vacancies available at their turn.
