NCRA–TIFR has set up and operates two radio telescopes, viz., the Ooty Radio Telescope (ORT) and the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT). NCRA-TIFR is on the lookout for suitably qualified candidates for the following position tenable at GMRT Observatory, Khodad. [B][U]Experience [/U][/B]: Minimum 2 years in design and development of Radio Frequency systems / Antenna Receiver systems / Optical Fibre systems. [B][U]Desirable [/U][/B]: Experience in advanced techniques of design, development and operations of low noise amplifiers, broad-band amplifiers, filters, optical fibre transmitters and receivers, and other components used in radio frequency receiver systems; knowledge of design tools used for the above applications.
