As per G.O.Ms.No.28, WCD&SC(WP) Dept., Dt :,04.07.2003, 13.06.2011& 15.10.2012, the financial assistance for each case is as follows ** Gang Rape Rs. 1,00,000/- ** Rape Case Rs. 50,000/- ** Dowry Death Rs. 50,000/- ** Trafficking Rs. 20,000/- ** Kidnap Rs. 20,000/- ** Acid Attacks Rs.1,00,000/- ** Hacked or Throat Slit Rs.50,000/- Year-wise Statement showing the Financial Relief sanctioned to the victims of Atrocities [B][U]Ujjwala Scheme [/U][/B]: The Ministry of W&CD, New Delhi formulated UJJWALA-a Comprehensive Scheme for Prevention of Trafficking, Rescue, Rehabilitation and Re-integration of Victims of Trafficking and Commercial Sexual Exploitation. This Scheme provides food, shelter, clothing, counseling and legal aid to the inmates of Ujjwala Homes [B][U]Swadhar Scheme [/U][/B]: The Swadhar Scheme purports to address the specific vulnerability of each group of women in difficult circumstances through a Home-based holistic and integrated approach. State intervention available through old age home, short stay home, Nari Niketan etc., cover only a fringe of the problems of such women. Therefore a scheme known as - Swadhar- has been designed with a more flexible and innovative approach to cater to the requirement of various types of women in distress in diverse situations under different conditions Swadhar aims at covering the primary needs of shelter, food, clothing, and care besides emotional support, counselling and a package for rehabilitation and reintegration specifically for the Women and girls rescued from trafficking. The Home strength is ranging from 50 - 200 beneficiaries. Presently 19 Homes are implementing the Scheme [B][U]Indira Gandhi Matritva Sahyog Yojana [/U][/B]: (IGMSY) (A Conditional Maternity Benefit Scheme) IGMSY is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme, approved by the GOI in October, 2010, under which the grant - in - aid is released to States / UTs. It is a conditional cash transfer scheme to be piloted initially in 52 districts across the country. The Scheme is implemented using the platform of ICDS. In Telangana, the scheme is being implemented in the selected districts of West Godavari and Nalgonda [B][U]Objectives of IGMSY [/U][/B]: To improve the health and nutrition status of Pregnant and Lactating (P & L) women and their young infants by i. Promoting appropriate practices, care and service utilization during pregnancy, safe delivery and lactation ii. Encouraging women to follow (optimal) Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) practices including early and exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months iii. Contributing to better enabling environment by providing cash incentives for improved health and nutrition to pregnant and lactating women [B][U]Target Beneficiaries [/U][/B]: i. Pregnant & Lactating women of 19 years of age and above for their first 2 live births ** The legal age of marriage in India for women is 18 years and hence the age criterion for child birth has been taken as 19 years. This is to encourage marriage and child birth at the right age ** To ensure that the health of the woman is not compromised due to repeated pregnancies and to promote family planning ii. All Government/Public Sector Undertakings (Central & State) employees are excluded from the Scheme as they are entitled for paid maternity leave.
