July 2014 to December 2014 in the Departments of [B][U]Name of the post [/U][/B]: Teaching Assistants [B][U]No. of post [/U][/B]: Computer Science (05), Civil Engineering(03), Centre for VLSI & Nanotechnology(02), Humanities (03), Mathematics (06), Electrical Engineering (03), Electronics Engineering (04), Chemistry (02), Physics (02), Metallurgy & Material Science (01), Mechanical (01), Mining (03) and Architecture . The numbers in the bracket indicate the tentative number of the posts to be filled. Candidates showing good teaching record may be given extension for next semester starting from December 2014 to May 2015, depending upon the requirements [B][U]Minimum Qualifications[/U][/B]: [B][U]1. Engineering Departments[/U][/B]: Masters degree with BE/B Tech in First Class or equivalent grade in the appropriate branch of Engineering. [B][U]2. Science Departments [/U][/B]: Master’s Degree in Science (Respective Discipline), desirable M. Phil/Ph. D [B][U]3. Humanities Department[/U][/B]: Master’s Degree in English, desirable M. Phil/Ph. D The persons with higher qualifications & good academic record shall be given preference. [B][U]Consolidated remuneration (without any allowances)[/U][/B]: M.Sc./M.A. – Rs. 25, 000 per month M.E./M.Tech/ M.
