[B][U]COUNSELING OF VET AND VRET 2014 [/U][/B]:
[B][U]Counselling for English 2014-2015 [/U][/B]:   
It is hereby informed to all applicants that counselling for admission to following programmes will be held on 02 July 2014 as per schedule given below: 
1. Five Years Integrated UG/PG Prog. - 60 Seats
2. M.A. in English             - 60 Seats

[B][U]COUNSELLING SCHEDULE  [/U][/B]:
Reporting to Department        - 9.00 AM 
(Room No-26, A WING, UTD Building)
Verification of Documents        - 9.45 AM to 1.30 PM 
Issue of Challan for fee deposit    -10.30 AM onwards

[B][U]DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO BE PRODUCED FOR VERIFICATION/SUBMISSION [/U][/B]:
1. 10th class mark sheet  
2. 12thclass mark sheet  
3. TC/CC/Migration (Only original is accepted)
4. 02 recent passport size photographs
5. Valid Caste certificate (if required)
6. Income certificate (for proof of OBC non-creamy layer category)
7. Gap certificate in the form of affidavit in original (as applicable)
8. Mark sheet of qualifying examination
9. Undertaking of Anti-ragging from candidate/Guardian (to be provided by the office)

[B][U]IMPORTANT NOTE[/U][/B]: 
1. Amount of Fee shall be as given in admission brochure 
2. Relaxation in upper age-limit/ reservation of seats will be as per     GOI/UGC/Vishwavidyalaya rules
3. Mere call for counselling does not ensure admission. Admission is strictly subject to satisfying  eligibility conditions as given in admission brochure. 
4. Working hrs of the university is 9.30 AM to 6.00 PM (Bank closing 4.00 PM)
5. All photocopies to be submitted should be self-attested
6. List of applicants called for counselling is enclosed as Annexure I

[B][U]Date and Reporting Time[/U][/B]: 11th July 2014, 09:30 AM to 12:00 Noon

Candidates are advised to keep with them required fees through drafts; all documents/certificates (Especially valid caste certificates and others) in original and Xeroxed copies. A candidate will not be allowed to leave counselling to collect any certificate once counselling starts; he/she will be treated as NON INTERESTED and next candidate will be considered immediately.

[B][U]Important instructions to candidates [/U][/B]:
i. The candidates who have appeared in VET 2014 are eligible for Reporting cum Counselling on the basis of VET 2014 merit
ii. The admission will be based on VET 2014 merit.
iii. Candidates will bring with them following documents in originals and a photocopy (self Attested) at the time of counselling
a. Mark sheets of 10th, 12th and Graduation from recognized board/ University.
b. Valid Caste certificates (if applicable) as per Government of India rules. For OBC candidates, a non creamy layer valid certificate is a MUST as per Government of India rules.
c. VET 2014 admit card
d. Any other document which they wish to show
e. Gap certificate, if applicable.
iii. At the time of counselling, the candidate must have qualified eligibility examination. Mark-sheet / result should be ready with the candidate.
iv. After the candidate is recommended for provisional admission, he/she will have to fill up challan form for depositing fees for the course. The First Year fees is Rs. 21835/. The fees will be  deposited at the counselling venue. The candidate will submit Demand Draft drawn in favor of  The Registrar, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur CG payable at Bilaspur of the prescribed amount along with the challan form to the concerned counselling team member failing which his/her admission will be cancelled and admission will be given to next candidates. 
v. The fees will be accepted by demand draft in favour of The Registrar, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur C G payable at Bilaspur only. Fees will not be accepted in parts/instalments. The required fees draft should be ready with a candidate once he/she is recommended for provisional admission.
vi. The admission of a candidate can be cancelled due to ineligibility of the candidate or due to any other reason including human error in preparing list at any time even during the course. 
vii. It is the responsibility of the candidate to remain alert about all announcements made in the counselling hall regarding counselling.
viii. Mere appearing in Reporting / counselling/keeping demand draft does not entitle a candidate for admission in the course. It is subject to fulfilment of  all criteria.[/QUOTE]
