[B][U]Qualification[/U][/B]: 
[B][U]Fabrication/ Outfit Assistant/ Crane Operator[/U][/B]:  Pass In Sslc,  Iti (Ntc) And National Apprenticeship Certificate (Nac) In The Respective Trade. 
[B][U]General Fabricator/ Outfitter/ Crane Operator [/U][/B]: Pass in SSLC and ITI (NTC) Certificate in the respective trade
[B][U]Experience [/U][/B]: Minimum of three years post qualification experience in a Shipyard or Engineering Company.

[B][U]10 Trade [/U][/B]: Crane Operator (EOT Cranes)
[B][U]No. of post [/U][/B]: 4
[B][U]Qualification[/U][/B]: 
[B][U]Fabrication/ Outfit Assistant/ Crane Operator[/U][/B]:  Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the trade of Electrician/ Electronic Mechanic.
[B][U]General Fabricator/ Outfitter/ Crane Operator [/U][/B]:Pass in SSLC  and ITI (NTC) Certificate in the trade of Electrician/ Electronic Mechanic.
[B][U]Experience [/U][/B]: Minimum three years post qualification experience in operating EOT cranes in a Shipyard or Engineering Company

[B][U]Period of Contract [/U][/B]: The period of contract will be two years.
[B][U]Age[/U][/B]: Age shall not exceed 35 years as on 01 June 2014 relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD.

[B][U]Method of Selection [/U][/B]: Interview and practical test will be conducted from 20th July 2014 at Cochin Shipyard Ltd. The  above is tentative schedule and may vary depending upon receipt of application through online and other administrative grounds. Date of interview/practical test will be intimated through SMS/email to shortlisted candidates. Schedule for test & interview will be published on Cochin Shipyard website. Those candidates who are short-listed and intimated need to appear for the interview. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility requirements will be permitted to attend the practical test.

[B][U]How to Apply[/U][/B]: 
i) Candidates should apply through online only and application once submitted shall be final. Candidates should not apply for more than one post as all such applications will be rejected. The website will remain functional for the purpose from 02 July 2014 to 12 July 2014.

ii) Candidates meeting the requirements will only be short-listed and the list will be published on our website. Short listed candidates should attend an interview on the dates fixed, from 0900 Hrs to 1200 hrs from 20 July 2014, at Cochin Shipyard Ltd and practical test on the same day or on a later date

iii) The candidates shortlisted for interview should bring the following.
a) Print out of online application
b) Two copies of recent passport size photographs.
c) Original Certificates and testimonials, in proof of age/date of birth, educational qualifications, experience etc and attested copies of the certificates.
d) Caste certificate in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Non-creamy layer certificate in the case of OBC and Disability Certificate issued by the Medical Board in the case of Persons with Disabilities.
e) Tight fitting cotton working dress and safety shoes for attending the practical test.
