** A team of maximum two members is allowed. Members of different educational institutes may form a team.
** The team will have to make a presentation of the design which should contain a movie (not more than 5 minutes) to elaborate the working and analysis of the model.
** The event will consist of mainly 3 rounds based on different aspects of the design.
** Multimedia facilities such as projectors, laptops, audio system etc. will be provided during the event but students should bring the designing software for their own convenience.
** The participants may take an inspiration from pre-existing designs but it should not be found to be an exact copy.
** The decision of the jury shall be final and binding.

** Any B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D student is eligible to participate in the event
** A team can have a maximum of two members.
** The topic must belong to one of the mentioned categories.
** No team is eligible to submit more than one entry under the same category.
** However, the same team can submit entries under different categories.

[B][U]Reverse Engineering [/U][/B]:

** A team may consist of a maximum of 5 members. Students from different educational institutions may form a team.
** Event will be held in three rounds. Round one and two will be of 300 points each, and the third round will be of 100 points.
** In the first round, teams will be given a mechanical device which they are required to disassemble to the smallest components and then re-assemble it after noting down the specifications of each component. The organisers will reject incomplete, inconsistent or improper tasks and documents. Time limit for this round will be 4 hours. To qualify for the next round minimum points required will be 200.
** In the second round, teams are required to submit a handwritten report on details of components, their specifications and mechanisms involved. Time limit for this round will be 1 hour.
** In third round, a 30 minute MCQ will be conducted to evaluate basic concepts of engineering involved.
