Application from the eligible candidates are invited for 13(Thirteen) number posts of Tubewell Operators (9 nos for General, 03 nos. for S.C and 1 no. for Handicapped) on temporary basis in the pay scale of RS. Rs.5910-20200+2400 grade pay plus usual allowances The eligibility criteria for filling up the said posts of Tube well operators(Public Health) are detailed as under

[B][U]Educational Qualification [/U][/B]:
a) Matric pass from recognized Board/ University or its equivalent.
b) ITI Trade certificate in the respective trade from any Govt. institute or its equivalent.
c) Two years experience in the trade.
[B][U]Note [/U][/B]: Those candidates who have acquired ITI from the recognized institute/ University and approved by the Joint committee are also eligible but such candidates will be considered at par with the basic qualification of ITI certificate of two years duration in the trade of Tubewell and they will not be given any preference for having higher qualification of diploma in respective discipline.

[B][U]Age as on 01.01.2013  [/U][/B]:  
a) 18 to 25 years for general category.
b) 18 to 35 years for S.C category

i) Application format can be downloaded from the website.

ii)  Interested candidates may apply in the performa mentioned below along with attested copies of their original testimonials and one self addressed fully stamped envelop and send their applications complete in all respect only by registered post and should reach latest by 4.11.2013 upto 5.00 P.M at the below mentioned address.

iii) Candidates already in Govt .service/semi Govt.service/Corporation/Boards shall apply through proper channel. The relaxation in age for candidates already in government service shall be decided as per latest instruction of the Chandigarh Administration. The envelop should be inscribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TUBEWELL OPEATOR(PUBLIC HEALTH).

1. The mere possession of the prescribed qualification for the above post does not entitle candidates to be called for interview, whereas the number of applications received in the response to the advertisement is large and it will not be convenient or possible for the department to convene written test of all the candidates. The department will short list the candidates in the ratio of 1:10 and such candidates will be called for written test on the basis of maximum marks attained by them in the Educational Qualification.
