The written examination against Employment Notice No.-NER/RRC/D/03/2012-13 Dated 11-08-2012 has been fixed at Lucknow & Gorakhpur as per following to 1st letter of English alphabet of Candidate’s Name as filled in application form

The Call letters for above written Examination have been issued by post to all eligible candidates. The eligible candidates who dont receive their original call letters, can apply personally in Camp Office of RRC in premises of DRM Office, N.E. Railway, Hajratganj, Lucknow & Railway Recruitment Cell, CCm Annexe Building, Railway Road No.-14, Gorakhpur (U.P.)-273012 according to their 1st letter of English alphabet for their duplicate copy of call letter on above schedule date at 10:00hrs. to 18:00. along with two paragraphs and obtain duplicate call letter to appear in the Written Examination. Request for duplicate call letters will not be entertained for above examination will not be considered.

[B][U]NOTE[/U][/B]: The details of rejected/Accepted forms and details for examination may be seen on official website [URL="http://www.ner.indianrailways.gov.in"]www.ner.indianrailways.gov.in[/URL]. Candidates can print their Duplicate admit card 5 days before of examination from the same website link. Downlod duplicate call letters form the website will be valid for written examination. Free travel authority will be available in the case of downloaded duplicate call letters.

[B][U]Written Examination[/U][/B]:-
A) Question Paper shall be of 10th standard consisting of 100 multiple choice objective type question to assess the General Knowledge/awareness/mathematics/reasoning etc.
B) Duration of Written Exam shall be of 90 Minutes.
C) Each question will carry 01 Mark and 1/3rd of the allotted marks will be deducted for each wrong answer/multiple answer i.e., one mark shall be deducted for three wrong answers.
D) Question paper shall be printed in Hindi, English and Urdu.
E) The time of written examination is 10:00AM to 11.30 AM for 1st Shift & 14:30 hrs. to 16:00hrs for 2nd Shift. Candidates should reach their examination center atleast one hour prior to start of examination i.e. before 09:30 AM & 13:30 hrs.
F) Candidates should mark their answers only in OMR sheets provided to them by marking bubbles. They should bring blue/black bal point pen with them.
