[U][B]Guidelines to make TNEB Bill payment via SMS mode [/B][/U]:
Indian Bank has launched a new facility to make TNEB bill payment using mobile phones through SMS. The salient features are:
** Registering for the facility (One Time)
** Enquiring EB Bill Amount due
** Payment of EB Bill Amount due
** Taking printout of Payment Acknowledgment

[B][U]Who can[/U][/B]: Mobile banking customers of Indian Bank who possess valid MPIN for doing mobile banking transactions.

[B][U]How to Register for the facility / Declare Debit Account No[/U][/B]: To make TNEB bill payment, register one of your account numbers as one time measure to map with your mobile number. For this you have to send message as: RTNEB <Acct No> <MPIN> to 9444394443 (While making payment, customer need not mention the acct number for debiting)

[B][U]How to Enquire Pending consumer Bill[/U][/B]: Send message as ETNEB <Region code with SCNO> <MPIN> to 9444394443 through his registered Mobile number.

[B][U]How to pay TNEB bill[/U][/B]: Send SMS as PTNEB <Region code with SCNO> <Amount> <MPIN to 9444394443.

[B][U]How to take printout of Payment Receipt[/U][/B]: After making successful payment, payment receipt can be taken from TNEB website.

[B][U]What is the Maximum Limit [/U][/B]: EB Bill amount can be paid though this sms mode upto Rs 5000; when bill amount exceeds Rs 5000, customers need to pay through Indian bank Net Banking channels :[URL]https://www.indianbank.net.in[/URL]
