[b][u]Essential Qualification[/u][/b]: 
[b][u]1. Course [/u][/b]: Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg) from recognized University/Institute
[b][u]Discipline [/u][/b]: Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering
[b][u]Percentage of Marks [/u][/b]: Minimum 65% or Equivalent CGPA

[b][u]2. Course [/u][/b]: AMIE
[b][u]Discipline [/u][/b]: Electrical
[b][u]Percentage of Marks [/u][/b]: Minimum 65% with both Sections A & B cleared by 31.03.2014

[b][u]Selection Process[/u][/b]:  
i) The selection process will include the marks obtained (Out of 100) by the eligible candidates in the EE paper of GATE 2014, followed by group discussion and personal interview of the candidates who qualify in the GATE paper and have been shortlisted category wise for the GD and interview. Candidates shall have the option for appearing the GD/ interview in Hindi or English.
ii) Eligible candidates will have to appear for the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE - 2014.
iii) Candidates obtaining a valid score (Marks out of 100) shall only be eligible for the next stage of selection. The score is valid only if the candidate obtains more than or equal to the qualifying marks as fixed for the EE paper of GATE 2014.

[b][u]Qualifying Marks in GATE-2014. [/u][/b]: The qualifying marks for GATE Examination shall be as per the criteria adopted by the GATE-2014 examination conducting authority for different categories.

[b][u]How to Apply [/u][/b]: 
i) Online Registration for GATE-2014 shall commence on 2nd September 2013.

ii) A separate notification with details regarding number of vacancies, important instructions regarding submission of POWERGRID online application, date of interview etc. shall be hosted on our website, from 7th January 2014.

iii)  From 7th January 2014 onwards, Candidates have to register themselves online at POWERGRID website with details of their GATE -2014 Application No., GATE-2014 Registration Number and other required information, which will be made available at CAREER section of [url]www.powergridindia.com[/url].

iv)  Candidates will be required to retain their GATE-2014 Admit card and Original GATE-2014 Score card for verification at the time of GD/ Interview / Joining in POWERGRID.

v)  Group Discussion and Personal Interview are likely to be conducted in the month of April/May 2014.
