It is proposed to invite applications from eligible departmental candidates for filling up of 220 vacancies (UR-171, SC-33 and ST-16) of Sub Inspector (Executive) in CISF through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) against the recruitment year 2013. However, vacancies may increase/decrease at the time of final selection.

Applications of eligible candidates who are posted in the units under the administrative control of DIsG Plant or DIsG DAE or DOS or Airports or BNs or GBS or SSG or in Training Institutions will be forwarded directly to the respective territorial Zonal DIsG

[b][u]Upper age limit [/u][/b]: 32 years as on 01.08.2013

[b][u]Service Eligibility [/u][/b]: Candidate should have completed four years of service including basic training as on 01.08.2013 as mentioned

[b][u]Educational qualification [/u][/b]:  Graduation from any recognized University.

[b][u]Clean Record [/u][/b]: The candidates must have good ACRs for last 04 years and should have unblemished service record till the issue of offer of appointment

[b][u]Physical Standard [/u][/b]: As applicable to SI (Direct entry) candidates which are as under;
[b][u]Height [/u][/b]: Male-170 Cms.;  Female-157 Cms;
[b][u]Chest (For male only) [/u][/b]: 80-85 Cms.
[b][u]Weight- for all candidates [/u][/b]: Corresponding to height and age as per medical standard
[b][u]Medical category [/u][/b]: SHAPE-I
[b][u]No. of chances  applicable to compete in the LDCE [/u][/b]: Three chances only. Those who have already availed three chances will not be eligible to compete in this examination of 2013.

[b][u]Selection Procedure [/u][/b]: The selection will consist the following;
[b][u]i) Stage-I [/u][/b]: Checking of service records.
[b][u]ii) Stage-II [/u][/b]: Written Examination
[b][u]iii) Stage-III [/u][/b]: Physical measurement.
[b][u]iv) Stage-IV [/u][/b]: Physical Efficiency Test.
[b][u]v) Stage-V [/u][/b]: Medical Examination

i) Application format can be downloaded from the website.

ii) Applications in respect of all eligible personnel of the unit have been obtained on the prescribed format and forwarded to the concerned territorial Zonal DIsG (i.e., DIG(NZ-I) New Delhi, DIG(SZ) Chennai, DIG(WZ-I) Mumbai, DIG(EZ) Patna and DIG(NEZ) Kolkata as the case may be) so as to reach them before 16.09.2013.
