Applications are invited from Indian nationals for recruitment of two vacancies against Cultural Quota in Group ‘C’ in Pay Band Rs.5,200-20,200/- (G.P. Rs.1,900/-) (RSRP-2008)in CHITTARANJAN LOCOMOTIVE WORKS for the year 2013- 14.Candidates fulfilling the following eligibility conditions may apply

[b][u]Pay scale [/u][/b]: Pay Band Rs.5,200-20,200/- (G.P. Rs.1,900/-) (RSRP-2008)
[b][u]Cultural Disciplines [/u][/b]: i) Vocal Music - 01; ii) Dance(Classical) - 01;
[b][u]Age as on 01-01-2014 [/u][/b]: 18 – 30 Years

[b][u]Educational Qualification[/u][/b]: Pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board. (50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories 50% marks are not required for SC/ST candidates and for candidates having higher qualification)

[b][u]Professional Qualification [/u][/b]:
[b][u]i) Vocal Music [/u][/b]: Possession of Degree/ Diploma / Certificate in Vocal Music from Government recognized Institute;
[b][u]ii) Dance (Classical)[/u][/b]: Possession of Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Classical Dance from Government recognized Institute.
[b][u]Desirable [/u][/b]:
i) Experience in the relevant field and performance given on AIR/Door Darshan etc.
ii) Prizes won at National level

[b][u]Selection procedure [/u][/b]: Eligible candidates will be assessed on the following basis ;

[b][u]i) Written Test[/u][/b]: Consists of 50 objective type questions relating to General Knowledge, Arithmetic and Reasoning. (There will be negative marking of ? marks for each wrong answer) 50
ii) Assessment of talent in the relevant cultural discipline on the basis of Practical Demonstration. 35
iii) Assessment of talent in the relevant cultural discipline on the basis of Testimonials / Prizes etc. 15
