Application Form for Post Graduate Dental Admission Counselling (PGDAC) – 2013 for Admission to MDS on the Basis of NEET (MDS) - 2013

[B][U]POST GRADUATE COURSE [/U][/B]:
a) MDS (Prosthetics) course available in Patna Dental College, Patna against 50% of State Quota seat / seats.
b) There may be addition and deletion of MDS Course / courses depending upon the situation. Any change in course / Institution / numbers of seats and their status as communicated by the Deptt. of Health, Govt. of Bihar will be informed at the time of Counselling / Interview.

[B][U]Educational [/U][/B]:
(i) The candidates must have passed the BDS Examination from any recognised Dental College of Bihar State included in the schedule of Dental Council of India.

(ii) The candidates who are permanent residents / domiciled of Bihar and have been admitted in BDS course on the basis of competitive examination conducted on behalf of Govt. of Bihar or by CBSE (under All India Quota) before the bifurcation of Bihar i.e. 15.11.2000 in Dental Colleges situated in Jharkhand and have obtained the degree of BDS are also eligible for nomination / allotment of a seat for admission in academic session 2013.

(iii) The candidates must have completed the rotating Internship before the date of P.G. Dental Admission Counselling 2013.

(iv) The candidates must have obtained permanent Registration from Dental Council of India or Bihar State Dental Council. A candidate, who has not obtained permanent registration from Dental Council of India or Bihar State Dental Council but is otherwise eligible, may be allowed to appear at PG Dental Admission Counselling 2013 on provisional basis but he must obtain the same within one month from the date of  his admission in P.G.Course as per the rules of the Dental Council of India, failing which the admission  of the candidate shall be cancelled. He must also be registered after admission under the concerned University within the period prescribed by that University.

[B][U]Age Limit [/U][/B]:
There is no maximum age limit for appearing PG Dental Admission Counselling 2013

[B][U]Counselling Fee [/U][/B]: The General (Unreserved), BC (Backward Class) and EBC (Extremely backward Class) categories candidate have to deposit Rs. 300/- (Rupees. Three hundred) and SC (Schedule  Caste) / ST (Scheduled Tribe) Categories candidates have to deposit Rs.225/- (Rupees. Two hundred twenty) in cash at the counselling venue and attach the cash receipt with Counselling Application Forms (Part-A & Part-B).

[B][U]Counselling Application Form [/U][/B]: Prior to appearing in the Counselling of PGDAC-2013 the candidates are required to fill up manually the prescribed Counselling Application Forms (Part-A and Part-B) available at the counselling venue. Passport size photographs of the candidate, identical to one that has  been issued for preparing Admit Card of NEET(MDS)-2013 are to be pasted at the specified spaces of art-A and Part-B.

[B][U]Submission of the Application Form [/U][/B]:
The completed Application Form (Part-A and Part-B filled in manually) alongwith the required enclosures is to be submitted by hand personally at the time of counselling for due verification of eligibility and identity against the original certificates / documents as presented by the candidate at the time of counselling.

After due checking / verification and establishing the eligibility of the candidate appearing for the counselling, the Course / Institution will be allotted based on merit-cum-option.[/QUOTE]
