  Applications are invited for the following posts on contract basis at Indian Institute of Handloom Technology-Kannur. The candidate should meet prescribed qualification as shown against each post.

 [B][U]Qualification[/U][/B]: 
 1. Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Textile Technology/Engineering with first class or Equivalent either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. 
 2. Ph.D in Engineering 
 [B][U]Experience  [/U][/B]: Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at the level of head of department or equivalent
[B][U]Mode of appointment [/U][/B]:  on contract
 
 [B][U]2. Name of the Post [/U][/B]:   Lecturer in Textile Processing
 [B][U]No. of post [/U][/B]: 1
 [B][U]Qualification[/U][/B]: 
 i) Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ technology in the relevant branch with first class or equivalent
 ii) If the candidate has a Master’s degree in engineering/ technology, first class or equivalent is required at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. 
 [B][U]Age[/U][/B]: Not exceeding 35 years.
[B][U]Mode of appointment [/U][/B]: on contract
