2. You are requested to report at this college on the date and time mentioned below for admission , subject to you are being found fit and satisfying all the conditions prescribed for admission .

 a) The ALAGAPPA CHETTIAR COLLEGE OF ENGG. & TECH., Karaikudi  is an autonomous Institution, affiliated to Anna University
 
 b) The selection and admission letter now sent is a formal letter intimating  provisional selection and it does not guarantee or confer any right or claim for  admission whatsoever and the candidates are informed to bring the original certificates.

c) If the candidate is not found to be satisfying the rules of eligibility prescribed for the course namely i) Marks ii) Age iii) Number of appearances in the  qualifying examination iv) Community v) Nationality vi)Nativity vii) Any other eligibility particulars while verifying the original certificates at the time of admission, the candidate shall not be admitted under any circumstances.

d) If the candidate does not join the college on the above mentioned date, he /she is liable to forfeit the seat offered. Medical Certificate will not be accepted for claiming postponement of admission date.

e) The candidates are requested to come with their Parent / Guardian on the date of admission along with this intimation letter.

f) At the time of admission the candidate should produce the following documents in ORIGINAL without fail.
(i) Allotment order issued by Anna University, Chennai.
(ii) Acknowledgement for fee paid at Anna University
(iii) First graduate concession & Joint Declaration certificate.
(iv) +2 OR equivalent examination Mark sheet along with an attested xerox copy
(v) Transfer certificate obtained from the Head of the Institution last studied.
(vi) Conduct certificate obtained from the Head of the Institution last studied.
(vii) Permanent Community certificate issued by competent authority with Gopuram seal and an attested Xerox copy.
(viii) Certificates of games and extra-curricular activities.
(ix) Medical fitness certificate obtained from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Civil Assistant surgeon (in form – A enclosed herewith)
(x) Two passport size photographs and two stamp size photographs with your name and branch written on the back side of the photograph for office use.
(xi) Candidates who are not native of Tamil Nadu and who have studied CBSE/AISSC courses must produce Nativity certificate from Revenue authorities or School certificate from the Head Master of the concerned school in proof of their having studied in IX to XII standards in Tamil Nadu.

g) THE CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO TAKE SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF COPIES OF THE ABOVE ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES AND ALLOTTMENT ORDER FOR THEIR FUTURE USE. ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES WILL BE ISSUED TO THE CANDIDATES ONLY AFTER GETTING APPROVAL FROM THE COMMISSIONER OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION.

h) The candidates are advised to bring Three passport size photographs, ID proof (Ration Card / Passport/Driving License /Pan card) & Rs.1000/- to open the Savings Bank Account in State Bank of India

i) Details of fees and other charges to be paid to the college and hostel by the students at the time of admission are as detailed in the following pages.

An introductory meeting will be held on 24.07.2013 for the I year students at Murugappa Hall by 10:00 am. All students should attend the meeting ithout fail
