 The curriculum of MBA (Off Campus) through distance mode will be relevant to the changing  business scenario and will cater to the needs of all the aspiring learners especially the working  executives. ( The detailed curriculum is available on the Panjab University web site.)   Specialization is offered in the third and fourth semesters. The different specializations are  (i) Human Resources (ii) Marketing (iii) Production and IT (iv) Finance and (v) International Business.
 
[B][U]TENURE[/U][/B]: The MBA Programme will be of 2 years duration (4 Semesters)

[B][U]Eligibility Condition for MBA (Off Campus) [/U][/B]:
 (i) A Bachelor’s or Master Degree in any discipline of Panjab University or a degree of  any other University which has been recognised by Panjab University as equivalent  thereto with atleast 50% marks in aggregate; 
 
 Provided that in case of candidates having Bachelor’s degree of the University  through Modern Indian Language [Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script)] and/or in   a Classical Language (Sanskrit/Persian/Arabic) or degree of any other University  obtained in the same manner recognized by the Syndicate, 50% marks in the  aggregate shall be calculated by taking into account full percentage of marks in all the  papers in Language excluding the additional optional paper, English and the elective  subject taken together. 
 Or
 (ii) A pass in final examination conducted by the (a) Institute of Chartered Accountants of  India or England. (b) Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England, and (c)  Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
 Or
 (iii) AMIE examination with 50% marks or more after having passed the diploma examination  with 60% marks or above and have at least 5 years research/teaching of professional  experience.
 Concession of 5% marks will be given in the eligibility requirements for SC/ST/BC candidates.

2.     Last date for submission of information on the website to generate the Bank Challan    July 14, 2013
3.     Last date for deposit of fee in any branch of State bank of India using website generated challan    July 16, 2013 upto 4:00 p.m.
4.     Last date for submission of fee details (journal no.; branch code and date of deposit given by Bank) and uploading of photograph, signature with rest of the information on the website    July 19, 2013
5.     No correction will be entertained/ made regarding photograph, signature and any other information after     July 21, 2013 upto 5:00 pm
6.     Final date by which Roll No. will be available online Roll No. and Centre of Examination will be generated and Roll No. slip required to be downloaded from the website by the candidate using their own Login and Password (provided while generating Bank Challan). There will be no physical communication for this purpose.    July 26, 2013
7.     Date of Holding Entrance Test    August 04, 2013
8.     Tentative date during which the result may be declared by the University    August 14, 2013
9.     Centre for the Entrance Test    1. Chandigarh. 2. Ludhiana (If the number of candidates exceed 40).

[B][U]SCHEME OF ENTRANCE TEST [/U][/B]:
The Entrance Test will carry 100% weightage and will be of two hours duration consisting of 100 questions. It will consist of multiple- choice questions having four responses A, B, C & D. The components of the test will include: (i) Data interpretation and problem solving; (ii) Numerical Ability; (iii) Verbal Ability/ Reasoning; and (iv) General English & Comprehension. There will be 25 questions in each section.

Candidates who will avail the concession in fee under the category SC/ST OR P.U. Class B/C Regular Employee must send the copy of printout of their filled form along with the self attested copy of Category Certificate/ Proforma for claiming 50% concession to P.U. Regular Employees ("B" and "C" Class) duly signed by Head/Chairperson, to Assistant Registrar, CET Cell, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160014 by registered post/speed post or by hand on or before July 24, 2013 upto 4:00 PM.[/QUOTE]
