Higher qualification, such as Master degree in respective field with good grades and added qualifications will be preferred. The candidate should have at least five years field/research experience in the field of Soil and Water Conservation/Forestry/ Dry land Agriculture/ Horticulture/Watershed Management or related field like assessment, management and mitigation of droughts, climatic and other associated risks, crop husbandry, crop specific technologies, horticulture practices, livelihoods, animal husbandry etc.

[B][U]Qualification [/U][/B]: 
(i)10+2 (with 50% marks) & “O” level / one year diploma/course in Programming Asstt./Comp. Application / NCVT Certificate (with 50% marks) or Graduate & “O” Level/ one year diploma/ course in Programming Asstt./ Comp. Application/NCVT Certificate (with 50% marks) or Three years diploma in Modern Office Practices/Office Management & Computer Application s/Comp. Engg./Electronics & Comm. Engg./BCA (with 50% marks) or two years diploma in Office Management & Computer Application (with 50% marks) or Post Matric one year ITI Course /NCVT in stenography (with 60% marks) and 
(ii) Data Purchasing speed of 8000 key depressions per hours or 133 key depression per minute.

In case the candidate with above qualification are not available, the candidate having diploma in Agriculture Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water management or two years certificate course in surveying/drawing and with 55% of marks can be considered.
