Reviewing Project contract documents related to quality aspects of the work to be performed under the contract.

Stage inspection of fabrication item prior to painting by carrying out visual inspection for welding and materials for finish and acceptances.

Inspection of piping to be carried out at layout / marking stage, fit-up stage, during & after welding as per welding procedure specification for the consumable used for welding and final dimensional & visual inspection prior to release of pipe spools & structures for painting.
Inspecting work in progress for conformance with the latest approved revisions of drawings and specifications.
Commenting on welding procedures submitted by Subcontractors and QC procedures prior to submission to Field Quality Manager and company.
Co-ordinating with the Welding Foreman and Site Engineers for marking the weld repair area on welding joints after reviewing the RT reports.
Expediting the weld repair for final clearance of pipelines.
Monitoring shop floor fabrication activities/cross country pipelines to ensure that production carry out their activities in accordance with project specification.
Preventing non conformance form occurring for in process materials, during cutting, fit-ups, welding, NDT, inspection and testing and erection.
Assuring fit-ups are correctly made as per WPS, randomly checking that internal releases NDT information are correctly filled by the Shop Foreman for proper tractability information.
