[B][U]“ONCE IN A LIFE TIME HAJ THROUGH HAJ COMMITTEE OF INDIA”[/U][/B]: 
Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India directed to restrict the number of Pilgrimages to a Haj applicant through Haj Committee of India to “once in a life time” as against the existing “once in five years”. This is a major change introduced for Haj 2013.

[B][U]AVAILABILITY OF HAJ APPLICATION FORMS (HAF) [/U][/B]:
The Haj Application Forms with Haj Guidelines for Haj 1434 (H) – 2013 can be obtained from the State/Union Territory Haj Committee free of cost or  can be downloaded from [URL="http://www.hajcommittee.com"]www.hajcommittee.com[/URL]. Photo copies can also be used.

[B][U]ELIGIBILITY FOR HAJ [/U][/B]:
[B][U]Any Muslim citizen of India can apply for Haj Pilgrimage except[/U][/B]:
I) Any person not in possession of International Passport issued on or before 20.03.2013 and valid at least upto 31.3.2014
[B][U]ii) Ban on Repeaters[/U][/B]: Those who have performed Haj earlier through Haj Committee of India. It is to further clarify that a person who performed Haj in the earlier years through Haj Committee of India is not eligible to apply for  Haj 2013. All persons in the cover should not have performed Haj earlier through Haj Committee of India. 
iii) Any person who is found to have furnished false information and concealed the fact of having performed Haj earlier shall not be allowed to proceed for  Haj and if found he/she will also be off-loaded even at the Embarkation  Point and the entire amount deposited by him/her shall be forfeited.

How can we obtain the Haj Application Form?    [/B][/I]
Haj Application Forms can be obtained either from the office of the State/UT Haj Committee or can be downloaded from the website of Haj Committee of India [hajcommittee.com].[I][B]

What needs to be done after obtaining the Haj Application Forms?[/B][/I]
Thoroughly read the Guidelines and Instructions part printed on the Haj Application Form, fill the Haj Application accordingly, visit the nearest branch of State Bank of India and deposit (non-refundable) payment @ Rs.300/- per applicant towards Registration Fee, submit the Haj Application in the office of the respective State Haj Committee and obtain Cover No. (Registration No.).

Yes. It is absolutely True.

How can we submit our Haj Application without any difficulty?[/B][/I]
The Cover Head shall make a cover of all the applications duly completed in all respects in terms of Guidelines for Haj and submit it to the State / Union Territory Haj Committees.

Who is Cover head (Group Head)?[/B][/I]
Cover head (Group Head) is a MALE person, whose application shall be given the first serial number in a particular cover.  He shall bear the full responsibility of the other applicants registered in his cover.

Can a lady be the Cover head?[/B][/I]
No.  Only a male can be the head of the Cover.

Can two or more covers be re-grouped?[/B][/I]
No.

Who is eligible to apply for Reserved “A” Category?[/I][/B]
Applicant who completes 70 years of age or above as on 31st January, 2013 is eligible to apply for Haj 2013 under Reserved “A” Category.

Can a 70+ Person can apply for Haj alone.[/B][/I]
    No.  He / She cannot apply for Haj without a Companion.

Who is a companion?[/B][/I]
    A companion is the nearest relative of the Pilgrim. For 70+ category companion shall be husband/wife, brother/sister, son/daughter, son-in–law/daughter- in- law, Grand son/ Grand Daughter, Nephew/Niece only.

Can a companion avail separate flight date?[/B][/I]
    No.

Who is a Nominee?[/B][/I]
    For Haj Pilgrimage, a Nominee is a person nominated by the Haji appropriately in the Haj Application Form, who can be contacted in India in case of any emergency.

Who is a Mehram?[/B][/I]
    The male companion of a Lady Pilgrim(s) during the entire course of Haj journey (as described in SHARIAT), is called a Mehram.

[I][B]What should I do with the Solemn Declaration and Undertaking printed on the back of each copy of Haj Application provided to me?[/B][/I]
    Every Haj Applicant is compulsorily required to sign or impress thumb on the Solemn Declaration and Undertaking after carefully reading the same.

What is the meaning of Last Date?[/B][/I]
    The last date fixed for the receiving of Haj Application Forms in the office of respective State / U.T. Haj Committees is called the Last Date.

    The last date for submission of Haj Application Form for Haj 1433 (H) – 2013 has been fixed as 20th March, 2013.

The last date for submission of Valid International Passports by the Pilgrims under Group One has been fixed as20th March, 2013.

The last date for submission of Valid International Passports by the Pilgrims under Group Two has been fixed as 20th May, 2013.

What facilities are available for NRIs / Frequent Flyers / Businessman & Umrah Pilgrims?[/B][/I]
    The NRIs / frequent flyers / businessman / Umrah Pilgrims / official / medical / family visits etc. can be exempted from submitting original passport at the time of Haj Application.  They need to submit self-attested copy of Passport alongwith an application giving cogent reason for late submission of Passport.

We have applied for Haj 2013.  One person in our Cover is an NRI. Can we submit our International Passport late as is allowed to the NRI of our Cover?[/B][/I]
    No.  All Pilgrims barring NRI must submit their Passports within the prescribed time limit, failing which their Haj Application shall liable to be cancelled.

    It would lead to cancellation of your Haj journey.

What is Qurrah?[/B][/I]
    Qurrah means draw of lots.

Cover numbers are randomly selected by the computer using specific software.

Where Qurrah is applicable?[/B][/I]
    Qurrah is held in certain States / U.Ts., where the number of Haj Applications received in excessof their allotted Haj Quota.

[B][U]Kindly note the steps to down load Pay-in-slip for Haj-2013 as under[/U][/B]:-
Step 1 a) Preferably use Mozilla Firefox browser
b) Internet Explorer
Step 2 In address bar type [URL="http://www.hajcommittee.com"]www.hajcommittee.com[/URL] then enter
Step 3 At top of Bar Menu -> from left -> 4th option is “ Pay in Slip download “ click on it
Step 4 A window as shown below displays on the screen
PAY IN SLIP DOWNLOAD 
Step 5 By default it chooses “With Amount” , if you want without Amount kindly
select “Without Amount”
Step 6 Enter cover number and click on Load button as shown on the above screen.
Step 7 The following page appears on screen
Step 8 Click on “Click to print” button as shown in above fig
Step 9 The below shown new window opens
Step 10 Do not click on ‘OK’ right now
Step 11 Click on “Cancel” button
Step 12 On cancel (After step 11) below screen appears Click on button
Step 13 Before printing the slip first check the setting as mentioned below.
Step 14 Click on “FILE” at menu bar -> Drop down menu display
Step 15 Click on “PAGE SETUP” as shown in fig below
Step 16 In format set Orientation: “Portrait” and Scale = 100% as shown in fig below
Step 17 Set all Margins zero (0) & Header/Footer set blank as shown in fig
Step 18 Set paper size A4 and Scale to Fit set 100% as shown in fig
Step 19 Before printing check print preview as shown in fig
Step 20 Kindly print the Pay-in-slip
