Lead and Supervises the instrument team conducting field maintenance, shutdown and commissioning activities for a wide variety of instrumentation and control systems such as Field Transmitters, Control Valves, PLC, DCS, ESD ,etc
[b][u]JOB DESCRIPTION [/u][/b]:
1. Lead the Instrument team for wide variety activities of Instrument and control systems such as PLC, ESD,PM and CM jobs
2. To plan, schedule and allocate daily workload to the Supervisors & foreman
3. To generate periodic schedule plan, updating man-powers & hours as per site condition
4. Servicing of control valve, conducting rig test and leaking test etc
5. Installation of Field JBs as per Instrument Location plan drawing in case of erection
6. Starting the Home run conduits from field JBs to Cable tray using conduit and riser diagram
7. Installation of all field instruments with associated, conduits and supports using conduit and riser diagram
8. Home run cable pulling from Field JBs to Process Interface Room (or) Central Control Room
9. Internal cable pulling from Marshalling Cabinet to DCS panels or ESD Panels
10. After completion of construction activities, complete check for loop packages
11. Installation of new terminal blocks in marshaling cabinet and junction boxes
12. Bulk cable pulling activities in field to control room, Instrumentation cables up to 32pair
13. Familiarity with all instrumentation drawing, Block diagram, P&ID, ILD, cause and effect diagram
14. Tubing of sampling valves, tubing of field instruments such as transmitters
15. Installation of new H2S detector/Transmitter, H2S Horn (XA), H2S Beacon (XL)
16. Installation of new Butterfly Control Valves (FCV) with associated solenoid valves (FXV) and Associated Limit Switch (FLS).
17. Experience with field Instruments and control systems
18. Functional testing and installation of Gas Detectors, Horn, Beacon Bell etc.,
19. Review of Termination Drawings and Instrument Loop Diagrams for all systems
20. Installation and Commissioning assistance of new control systems PLC, DCS, ESD, VMS (Invensys, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson)
21. Installation and commissioning of field Instruments Pressure TX, Temperature TX, Level TX, Flow TX, MOVs, ESD and EDP Valves and Control Valves
22. Installation of Control Panels, power up of panels, completion of wiring, Loop checking and functional testing of all the loops
23. Installation of Cable Ladders/trays, Impulse tubing and Air Line Tubing
24. Installation of Air Blower and measuring the winding temperature by RTD, The TIT connected through RTD which connected measure the temperature w.r.to control room
25. Leading the instrument team in daily PM and CM jobs and trouble shooting of problems encountered in the field side
26. Basic knowledge of instrument analysers like Metler Toledo pH2100, ph7100e,Rosemount conductivity& oxymitter 4000,Biotector TOC-TIC analyzer,ApplikonADI2040 series,Myron L 750 series conductivity,ABB PGC 2000 SERIES etc
