[CENTER][B]Admission notification for UG & PG Para Medical Courses - 2013-14[/B]

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the academic year 2013-14.

[B][U]ELIGIBILITY [/U][/B]:
 Candidates who have passed H.S.C. Examination (Academic stream of 10+2 curriculum) of any State Board/CBSE/ISC or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto, with the group of subjects specified below are eligible to apply for admission to the course concerned.

[B][U]FILLING APPLICATION FORM AND ATTACHING CERTIFICATES[/U][/B]:
(a) Application form should be filled in carefully and legibly by the candidate in his/her own handwriting.
(b) If the application form is downloaded from the University’s website, a demand draft for Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) drawn in favour of “Sri Ramachandra University” payable at Chennai towards the application and examination fee.
(c) Application will be rejected summarily if incomplete or sent without enclosing the relevant certificates.
(d) Mere admission to the Entrance Examination does not confer on the candidate any right of admission to the course of study applied for.
(e) Admissions are subject to fulfillment of all the prescribed eligibility conditions by the candidates. If it is found either at the time of admission or at a later stage, that the candidate has given false information/certificate or concealed material information, his/her admission will be cancelled and the student shall be dismissed from the college immediately.
(f) The University reserves the right to change the curriculum, course structure and the rules relating to admission, examinations, fee structure, etc.
(g) All question arising in relation to interpretation and implementation of the provisions in this prospectus will be referred to the Vice-Chancellor of the University and his decision shall be final and binding.
(h) In respect of matters relating to, or arising out of this prospectus, the jurisdiction shall lie in Chennai alone.

[B][U]MODE OF SELECTION[/U][/B]:
(a) Selection will be made on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination. Intimation letter will be sent to the candidates provisionally selected for admission. Course allotment will be made through counselling in the order of merit.

(b) In case of candidates who secure the same marks in the Entrance Examination, ranking will be made based on their academic performance in the qualifying examination prescribed for admission.

(c) In order to facilitate the above ranking process, candidates should submit their copy of H.S.C.(+2) mark statement on or before 12-6-2013 to the Registrar of the University failing which they will lose rank position in the rank list as indicated in sub clause(b) above.

 Entrance Examination Application Form duly filled in and securely fastened with the above enclosures may be submitted in person or sent by Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier Service to reach : THE REGISTRAR, SRI RAMACHANDRA UNIVERSITY, PORUR, CHENNAI - 600 116 on or before 15-05-2013 (Wednesday).

If the application form is downloaded from the website the candidates should submit the application form without folding in a A4 size envelope.

Application, if any, delivered after 5.00 p.m. on 15-05-2013 (Wednesday) will be summarily rejected.
 
 [B][U]DATE OF ENTRANCE EXAMINATION[/U][/B]:
 a) The All India Entrance Examination will be conducted on 26-05-2013 (Sunday) from  10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. The candidates are advised to be at the Examination Centre an  hour before the commencement of the Examination.
 b) The Candidates need not bring ball point pen. This will be provided them at the Examination Hall.[/QUOTE]
