Proven experience in architecture, detailed design and implementation of large-scale backend systems and multi-tier web platforms.
    Strong grasp of data structures and algorithm fundamentals.
    Expert in at least one compiled language (e.g., Java) and one dynamic scripting language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Perl).
    Experience in relational (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
    Proficiency with *NIX development environments.
    A desire to work in a small team to solve big problems.
    BS or higher degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
    3+ years of software development experience.

[b][u]Preferred Qualifications[/u][/b]:
    Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or related discipline
    Ruby and Java experience a plus
    Knowledge in data mining and machine learning is a plus.
    Experience shipping distributed and scalable solutions to the market
    Ability to work as part of a team
    Take initiative when needed
    Excellent communication skills
