1. Four Year college degree with Preferred major in Computer Science / Engineering
2. Exposure to Financial Markets and Modelling (specially fixed income) and Portfolio Management Analytics and related technology /tools is a plus.
3. Designing, implementation, and testing of C++ applications with complete understanding of object oriented programming, STL, boost, multi-tier architecture, parallel/ multi – threaded programming.
4. Strong Unix/Linux, shell scripting or any other scripting skills.
5. Strong organizational, oral and written communications skills
6. High energy/self starter with the ability to work independently within the firm’s demanding and highly focused environment

[B][I][U]Position [/U][/I][/B]: Portfolio Associate
[B][I][U]Location[/U][/I][/B]: London or Munich
Portfolio Associate works with traders and portfolio managers to look after the trading activities and portfolios. He/She creates reports to depict the risk associated with portfolio, also helps traders in logging trades, carrying out trades at times and in studies related to portfolios (historical , structural etc).
[B][I][U]Qualifications/Requirements [/U][/I][/B]: 
[B][I][U]1. Strong finance at least of the level of CFA level 1. Focus mostly on fixed income and products[/U][/I][/B]: Bonds, Swaps, Options, Futures , Derivatives. Basic understanding of financial models is a plus.
2. Fast in calculations, multiplication and division approximately at lightening speeds.
3.Excellent communication and analytical ability.
4. On technology side - SQL skills (select, insert, update, joins, having, group by etc), VBA skills (should be able to write small code and functions, macros etc) and EXCELLENT Excel skills and good understanding of Microsoft Office.
