[B]Important Notice for MBBS Applicants  [/B]:
The admission criteria and process indicated in the Prospectus 2013 for MBBS course are applicable only when Sikkim Manipal University conducts the entrance examination.

The criteria and process may change if the Medical Council of India conducts the proposed All India Medical Entrance Examination for the academic year 2013-14 and Sikkim Manipal University has to follow the guidelines/directions of MCI.

In this regard, our web page will be updated periodically to facilitate the flow of information to the applicants.

Candidates seeking Admission in B.Tech at SMIT may apply in three ways viz. through AIEEE All India Rank, SMIT offline test  (Application Form in-built in SMU Prospectus to be sent to Chairman Admission, SMIT, Majitar, Rangpo, East Sikkim - 737136[URL="http://www.smu.edu.in"][/URL]) and All India Examination conducted by Manipal University (MU-OET 2013) for which candidate may visit [URL="http://www.admissions.manipal.edu"]www.admissions.manipal.edu[/URL].

Important Notice for B.Sc Nursing (4 Years), P.C. B.Sc Nursing (2 Years) and BPT

Admission for B.Sc Nursing, P.C. B. Sc nursing and BPT are now open for Direct Admission (no entrance test) for the Academis Session 2013.

     1. These terms and conditions will form an essential part of any contract between the University and any student offered a
          place at the University.
    2. Every effort has been made to ensure that the information contained in this Prospectus is accurate.
        The University will take all reasonable steps to provide the educational services described in this Prospectus.
    However, the content of individual courses and the curriculum for any given degree are under constant academic review and may change from time to time, with some courses being modified, discontinued or replaced. In addition, external factors such as industrial action or the death or departure of staff may make it impossible, or possible only at disproportionate expense, for the University to provide a previously offered option. In the interest of rational deployment of resources, options offered may be subject to a minimum level of interest being shown in any given year.
    3. For all the foregoing reasons, the University reserves the right not to provide any particular course, curriculum or facility, to make variations to the content or method of delivery of courses, to discontinue courses and to merge or combine courses if such action is reasonably considered to be necessary by the University.
     If the University discontinues any course it will use reasonable endeavours to provide a suitable alternative course and will take all reasonable steps  to minimise any disruption, which might result from such changes.
