- Basic & Detail Engineering of Utility System (including Oil, fuel gas, industrial gases, air, steam system etc.) related to combustion process & release the same for customer approval.
- Sizing and pressure drop calculation of steam, oil, gas, air pipes and pipe fittings, selection of valves and other equipments based on process requirement.
- Calculation of pipe thickness, insulation thickness, flange rating etc.
- Selection of various types of equipment like burner with other combustion equipments, pump, filter, oil tank, level gauge, level switch & various combustion process related valve train consisting of instrument like pneumatic/electrically actuated shut off/control valve, pr./differential pr. Gauge, Pr./differential transmitter, temp. Element & transmitter, orifice plate, mass flow meter, solenoid valve, limit switch/proximity switch flame detector, junction box & cable, preparation of cable schedule etc
- “Bill of Quantity (BOQ)” preparation of utility system (using national & international standards like ASME, ASTM, API, BIS, BS etc).
- Preparation of Technical Specification of equipment & release the same for customer approval.
- Issuing enquiry of bought out items, Checking of Vendor drawings and data sheets, placement of final order.
- Co-ordination with client and project documentation.
- Manufacturing /Erection Supervision 
- Quality related activity like preparation of WPS, PQR & WPQ, completion of IBR formalities, conduct customer ‘s / third party inspection
