This was well accepted by to the Hotel and inturn 80% gross margin was achieved instead of 55% gross margin. - Based of MIS report slow high Gross margin yielding products were categorized as ART (Augumented range product).These products were focused to all stores to be sold on high prority.70 products increased gross margin percentage by 20%. - Products yielding low margin and non-moving products with high stocks were categorized as PPH(Passive phased out) and special discounts were given.Products started moving soon after discounted price. - Bed runners were made with left over fabrics from Made-ups.These were sold in all stores as one time sales leading to 5lakhs profit per month. - Special treatments such as knit backing and foam applications were done successfully through local vendor for Pierre,Singapore project. - Successfully achieved a Target Inventory Turn over of 2 for financial year 05-06. - Imported product from Italy was received with quality defects.With effective negotiation with vendor 50% debit note was issued.
