[B] Eligibility for participating in different levels[/B] :
    [B]Level O[/B]: Second year undergraduate students with Mathematics as one of their subjects.
    [B]Level I[/B]: Final year undergraduate students with Mathematics as one of their subjects.
    [B]Level II[/B]: First year postgraduate students with Mathematics as one of their subjects OR participants of the previous year Level I Programme.

    Selection[/B] :    
    The selection will be purely on merit, based on consistently good academic record and the recommendation letter from a mathematics professor closely acquainted with the candidate.
    
    Only selected candidates will be informed of their selection by the 2nd week of February 2013. The list of selected candidates will be posted on the MTTS website in the 2nd week of February 2013. Candidates selected for the programme will be paid sleeper class return train fare by the shortest route and will be provided free board and lodging for the duration of the course.
    
Centres for Level-O participants will be decided by the programme selection committee.[B]

Through MORS, you can fill your details, create a pdf file of the application + recommendation form (both personalized containing your details) in a few steps.

    Offline Submission of applications [/B]:    
    If you prefer the traditional way of sending applications by post, please download the application form and recommendation form.
    
    Unless you, as a teacher, are convinced that there is somespark in the candidate and that the student wishes to pursue a research/teaching career in mathematics, please do not encourage him/her to apply for the programme. Please do not recommend somebody just because he is the top scorer of the class.
    
    If this is not possible for you, you may get details and application forms from the Head, Department of Mathematics of your Institution.
    
    In case of difficulties, write to Programme Director Professor S. Kumaresan by sending a self addressed and stamped (Rs. 10) envelope of size 10 cm x 22 cm to the address given below. Write MTTS-2013 Application Form Request on the cover of your letter.
