Manpower Planning Model : Attrition probability generation from the historical data and applying that to forecast the future available workforce. Apply a demand and supply analysis to optimize the workforce. Exposure to Talent Management and Key Performance Indicators. May 2007 – 2011 April Organization : Genpact Position : Consultant Domain : Insurance –Modeling My initial responsibility was to support the decision science team to build response model in SAS using logistic regression for the credit card industry. During this time, I attended relevant trainings in SAS, Modern Descriptive Statistics and Statistical Model Building. Have been supporting the Experience analysis team for Payment Protection Insurance for 4 years, worked on many projects like claim frequency ,claim severity, retention models, claim duration, and capable of independently working on the Quarterly Performance Management reports. These reports are the summary of the analysis of Inforce business which includes the calculation of the key business metrics like Exposure, Gross Earned Premium, and Loss Ratio... Successfully completed the projects on modeling claim frequency and claim severity. Objective of these models were to identify the shape of the response variables frequency and severity along with a function form based on the policyholder information. Methodology was Generalized Linear Modeling. In frequency model, started with Poisson regression which was further modified using Negative Binomial due to the over dispersion of data. Recommended further improvement to the model using Zero Inflated Distributions since the percentage of zero’s in response variable is very high. For Severity Model gamma distribution was the appropriate model .Data was highly skewed, hence separate models were build on the various segments of portfolio. Retention model was build by using Logistic Regression and Poisson Regression depending upon the objective of the study. These models help the business to set up the pricing assumptions for products when there are no other standard measurements. Was involved in the claim duration analysis to identify a mathematical model for duration of claims, as a function of customer characteristics. Recommended methodologies are survival Analysis and Binomial model for the calculation of mortality rate /Hazard rate. Trained on Non Linear Optimization model to find a product-mix, which will maximize the present value of Net Income at a given hurdle rate over a specified period of time subject to limitations like Growth and Shrinkage Limits on products, Annual Growth Rate of Net Income, Year wise ROE requirement and Capital Allocation Limits. Presented the findings of the project during an on-site visit to U.K in May 2008.The outcome of project was appreciated by the clients and got positive feed back and was also nominated for an award by the client. Participated in the knowledge sharing program by training the pricing team on statistical modeling. 2005 – 2007 Organization : St.Mary’s college, Trichur, Kerala Position : Lecturer Domain : Statistics 2003 – 2004 Organization : Dept. of Statistics, Calicut University, Calicut, Kerala Position : Lecturer Domain : Statistics Guided two projects on Pareto Distribution and Bivariate Exponential Distribution 2002-2003 Organization : Dept. of Computer Science, Calicut University Position : Lecturer Domain ;: Statistics
