The experimental investigation were conducted on KIRLOSKAR TV-1 single cylinder, four stroke, constant speed, water cooled diesel engine. In the present work, the performance and emission characteristics of diesel engine were studied using diesel as a prime component and two different Bio-Additives in various ratios, such as 1ml, 2ml, 3ml, 4ml, 5ml per liter respectively. The performance and emission characteristics of neat diesel are compared with two different Bio-Additives (KRIYA and BIO-BOOSTER). The results indicate that there is an increase in engine thermal efficiency, with the use of Bio-Additives. The3 emission CO,NOX, and smoke density values are lowered with the use of Bio-Additives. Declaration : I declare that the information and facts stated above are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief. SAIRAM KOSURI
