The Solution Architect provides technical and business domain leadership during solution development, starting at the requirements phase to development and to deployment, based on years of experience and knowledge of applicable technologies.
3-4 years of experience in requirements gathering and design of software products
Experience architecting/implementing MDM solutions.
Domain experience in either Retail, manufacturing, distribution or energy industries.
Knowledge of enterprise landscape, architectures, and experience working with ERP, CRM, Data Warehousing, or SRM systems.
Cross-functional skills and ability to work across business, implementation and technology teams.
Strong communications skills - Ability to understand and document customer requirements and provide solutions.
Bachelors or Equivalent experience.
Prior solution architect experience in a large company.
Houston based or willing to relocate to Houston.
Willingness to work in a small company.
Not an 8 to 5pm environment

[b]Solution Architect Job Description [/b]:
The Solution Architect provides technical and business domain leadership throughout feature development, starting at the pre-envisioning phase to development and probably to deployment, based on years of experience and knowledge of applicable technologies.
Providing feedback on product features and priorities to the product management and core-engineering team.
Managing relations with software architects, developers, operational personnel and technology leadership (CTO, CIO, Directors etc.) within prospect organizations.
Troubleshooting performance, scale, availability issues for integrated solutions and debugging Production Problems when the situation arises.
Hands-on engagements to help consumers successfully execute stress testing and get to deployment readiness.
Hands-on assistance with Integration (code-reviews, code-samples etc.) and Tuning of the customer Application with company's technology.

We're looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Specialist that will be responsible for configuration and presentation of our products to the clients based on their business needs. Duties involve engaging in Client discovery calls, solution design, analysis, configuration and implementation of our product for customers or prospects. The Pre-Sales Solution Specialist closely works with Product Management to understand the road map and new release features, Professional Services to fine tune the pre-sales process based on the learning lessons, Sales Teams to understand the Sales Pipeline and demo requirements.

You will be responsible for driving all aspects of product implementation, including project planning, management and execution. This role requires the capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, manage customer expectations, oversee internal teams, assess and mitigate risks, and ensure on-time and high quality delivery. You should expect up to 50% travel.
