[B]Job Description  [/B]:
**   Validation of various Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project activities under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Kyoto protocol.
**   Verification and Validation of project activities under Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS)
**   Verification of emission reductions claimed by VCS project activities.

[B]Qualification and Experience  [/B]:
**   BE/B. Tech or ME/ M. tech (Environment/ Electrical/Chemical)
**   Should have undergone a recognized Environmental management systems Auditor course.
**   Min 5 years of work experience in large/medium size industrial house, out of which 1-2 yrs exp. in climate change services, energy management in carbon accounting etc.
**   Demonstrate the knowledge, abilities and personal attributes necessary for the effective leadership of the validation/verification team and efficient management of the audit. This includes planning, organizing, directing, performing and reporting audits.
**   Have performed 2 complete CDM/JI determinations/validations and/or verifications, under the supervision and guidance of a Lead Verifier. A complete validation/verification process encompasses all the activities from document (Project Design Document/Monitoring Report) upload in the UNFCCC web site to issuance of final draft validation/verification report.
**   OR have acted in the role of a team leader in ISO14001 audits and performed 2 complete VCS/GS validations and/or verifications under the supervision and guidance of a Lead Verifier. A complete validation/verification process encompasses all the activities from document (Project Design Document/Monitoring Report) upload in the GS/BVC web sites (when applicable) to issuance of final draft validation/verification report.
**   OR have acted in the role of a team leader in an additional VCS/GS project after having performed 2 complete VCS/GS validations and/or verifications under the supervision and guidance of a Lead Verifier. A complete validation/verification process encompasses all the activities from document (Project Design Document/Monitoring Report) upload in the GS/BVC web sites (when applicable) to issuance of final draft validation/verification report.
**   OR have acted in the role of a team leader in a CDM activity such as revision of Monitoring.
**   Plan/Changes to PDD, after having performed 2 complete VCS/GS validations and/or verifications under the guidance of a Lead Verifier. A complete validation/verification process encompasses all the activities from document (Project Design Document/Monitoring Report) upload in the GS/BVC web sites (when applicable) to issuance of final draft validation/verification report.
**   Experience in power sector, electricity distribution will be an added advantage.
**   Should have experience in environmental audit activities, including document review, on-site work and reporting.
