Dissertation [/b]: Cloning and characterization of serine protease inhibitor in cotton Discription : The main aim was to isolate and sequence analysis of serine protease inhibitor gene from cotton (Gossipium hirsutum). The sequence of serine protease inhibitor was searched from NCBI bank . primers were designed from that sequence and then primers were added to isolated DNA of cotton, the desired gene was amplified . Quantification was done by electrophoresis. Band was obtained which was then sent to sequence analysis.
