Project Brief
A virtual learning environment (VLE) is a set of teaching and learning tools designed to enhance student’s learning experience by including computers and internet in the learning process.While often thought as primarily tools for distance education,they are most often used to supplement the face-to-face class room. The principle components of a VLE package include virtual class, E tutor and chatting. By means of Virtual class, the faculty and the students can have direct communication (student can see the teacher using a webcam).Also they can query their doubts using a voice cord. E-tutor provide transfer of text or figures drawn by the teacher to the users computer at the same instant .Also there is a facility for recording the virtual class E-tutor so that students can view it later. The various users of VLE can grouped for accessing the application. The administrator schedules a class by specifying the teacher’s name, topic, date and time.
