[b]Description [/b]: The working of a hovercraft is fairly straightforward: one high-power motor with an airplane propeller forces air down through the hole in the center, which pushes the bottom of the hovercraft off the ground. This greatly reduces friction, allowing the hovercraft to scoot around without much trouble. It also makes it much more difficult to control, however: when the hovercraft turns, it will keep traveling in a straight line unless more thrust is applied. Fairly the hovercraft runs on any surface such as land, snow, ice, water etc. the controlling of hovercrafts is also an important task because controlling the hovercraft manually causes many problems at the time when any disturbances come in the sea. so far as we give it radio controlling by installing radio transmitters and receivers to make its controlling easy and convenient. 
 
SUMMER INTERNSHIP DURING B.TECH
[b]Organization  [/b]: North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur.
[b]Project Title  [/b]: Roller bearings in railway coaches.
[b]Objective  [/b]: It has self aligning ability and high load bearing capacity. These bearings have a common raceway and two rows of symmetrical spherical rollers in the outer ring. Due to limited speed tolerating capacity, these bearings deliver excellent performance in transmissions, vibrators, conveyors, shakers, speed reducers and other heavy machinery. To accommodate various types of loads, these bearings are manufactured in different radial thicknesses and axial widths. Apart from carrying radial loads, these bearings can also carry axial loads in two directions.

Capital Power Infrastructure Ltd is engaged in power infrastructure business under RAPDRP, RGGVY, HVDS schemes.
Incorporated in 2008, CPIL is a Noida-based company, which provides material, erection, testing and commissioning services in the power transmission and distribution sectors on turnkey basis. As of FYE10, the company reported sales of INR 2.1 bil, with group turnover of more than 350 cr.
The other associate companies of Capital group are-
- Capital Power Systems Ltd. - Engaged in manufacturing of electronic energy meters since 1985.
- Capital Electricals Ltd. – Engaged in manufacturing of LT Power & Control cables since 1992.
The group is more than two and a half decades old
Capital is doing tie-ups for its UHV/EHV T/L and Switchyard Projects.
The group will also be initiating its International operations for power infrastructure projects shortly.

[b]Roles and Responsibilities [/b]:
Being a Site Engineer, I am responsible for
- Planning, projection, installation, erection & commissioning of new High Voltage Distribution System (HVDS) to LVDS electrical project for rural area in Palwal, Haryana. Responsible for planning the project in order to accomplish its objectives within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards.
- Site survey and planning, Installation & commissioning, Integration and Testing of network equipment, Testing and validation by customer. 
- Provide support to customer and support the team on problem resolution. 
- Ensure delivery from vendors/sub contractors as per the contract. Manage teams across territorial locations.
- Developed and maintained tactical and strategic relationships with Project manager, Field managers, Planning manager, Infra manager and Field Engineers.
- Identified and secured internal and external resources to meet goals of the project plan.
- Defined project plans, schedules and deliverables in order to ensure operational support of equipment, product and/or services. 
- Maintained strong cross-functional relationships across large geographic locations.
 Maintaining Data and tracking the progress on project sites. 
- Interface with Project Team Lead & Vendor team.
- Managing the Documentation flow in the project.
- Site Survey for existing and new sites.
