Presently working in “Samsointe South Asia Pvt Ltd, Gonde, Nashik” as an Import/Export Officer – Samsonite is Worldwide Manufacturer & Exporter of Travel Goods. - Since working from 08th Oct 2007 to Till date
[b]Exports [/b]:
· Preparation of Export shipments documents and arranges to send the same to Customer [i.e. Invoice / PL / Co / BL / Various Form / Fumigation Certificate & any other documents if required] for clearance of shipment at destination.
· Arrangement of the export containers for factory stuffing.
· Preparing all exports related documentation as well as Letter of Credit documentation.
· Dealing with shipping company for freight negotiation and other related matters.
· Dealing Customs for any problems for clearance of shipment.
· Checking of Documents i.e. BL / AWB / Shipping Bill / Co
· Co ordination with Customs Clearing Agent for clearance of goods from Sea port / Air port and gate in the containers at Port.
· Submitting Exports documents in to bank for remittance 
· Co ordination with Transporters for lifting of empty container as well as delivery of loaded containers. 
· Negotiation in rate in case my shipment thru courier & Air Shipment
· Passing of Freight Bills after checking various charges like Freight, THC, Documentation Charges, Surrender Charges & any other charges also passing bills of CHA & Transporter.
· Preparation of sets, which requires for BRC (Bank Realization Certificate) as well Rebate claim and handover it to Excise Dept.
· Co ordination with Marketing Dept as well as planning dept for Exports of goods.
· Co ordination with Finance Dept for payments & other commercial matter.
[b]Imports [/b]:
· Co-ordination with Supplier for loading containers in plan vessel as well as post shipment documents.
· Co-ordination with Shipping Company, Clearing Agents & Transporter for clearance of imported goods
· Scrutinizing Documents received from the Overseas Party.
· Coordinating with shipping line / Forwarders for negotiation of the freight
· Managing all procedure, formality and documentation for clearance of goods from factory under the DEPB License Scheme and cash
· Co-ordination with CHA to file B/E and arrange duty payment from A/c Dept
· Interacting with Depot & factory regarding delivery of imported goods
· Handling large quantity of Import consignments.
