At present working with M/s Su-Kam Power Systems Limited (ISO-9001-2008) Group of company located at Apparel Park-cum-Industrial Area, Plot No-7, Katha, Po. Baddi-173205, Distt.Solan (HP) as Sr. Engineer in R & D department . Responsible for the product design & development of lead Acid batteries i.e. various types of flooded inverter Batteries, Tubular plate inverter batteries, Modular VRLA/SMF batteries, Automotive Batteries & solar batteries etc.

Su-Kam is one of the Leading Lead Acid Battery Company. They are market leaders for UPS Batteries as well as inverter Batteries. Major products of company are Flat Plate & Tubular Plate Flooded Batteries, Modular & SMF/VRLA Batteries, automotive Batteries & solar Batteries etc. For batteries manufacturing and boxing they are used High Impact Polystyrene co-polymer plastics container and lids cover and also used different types of non conducting plastics material. i.e. Battery container, lid, handle, rope handle, different types of buffers, separators, PE envelop, terminal proctors, bottom bar, top bar, vent cap, ceramic vent plug etc. Different types of rubber components also used. 
[b]Job Responsibility [/b]:-
- Conceptualization and planning to product Design & development of Battery assemblies and its components.
- Study of competitor’s bench mark product, initial electrical, mechanical and strip down analysis. 
- To prepare of Design input data, process specifications, material specifications, work instructions and testing procedures for product development. 
- Creation of detailed drawings of products and assemble tooling of battery using AutoCAD 2004-2008. 
- Development of assemblies and their tooling, comb jigs, Production tools and Machine spares, and carrying out assembly trials.
- Design and development review.
- Design Verification & Validation.
- Design and development changes of projected/existing product to be maintained all the records for identification.
- Bill of Material Preparation, updating in ERP system and Releasing. 
- To Review engineering designs and modified to maximize quality considerations and more appropriate for application.
- ECN rise for modification of existing product by change request.
- Carrying out DFMEA and its solution. 
- Vendor correspondence and Follow-up for Product development and component out - sourcing.
- Design and development of prototype component and carry out their testing and trials.
[b]- Conduct all the testing of plastics and hard rubber container (battery) and other non conducting material as per IS [/b]: 1146 to check mechanical & electrical properties of Plastics and rubber containers. 
- Process monitoring Measurement & Performance Analysis.
- Preparing and implementation of corrective and preventive action plan.
- Maintain streamlined records related to R & D and quality assurance planning.
- To establish documented procedures for control of system procedures, work instructions, process control standards, Drawings and specifications, control plans, incoming inspection standards and first product approval process. 
- Immediate take action to eradicate any production or quality problems as possible as by new development or modification of existing component.
