- Fibre Node Point planning for 3G sites.
- Deploying ATM and IP network, upgraded radios, nodes etc.
- Protection plan for 3G sites.
- MUX Planning for ATM and IP sites.
- Plan for Material Requirement for 3G sites.
- E1 and Ethernet setting plan for 3G sites.
- Preparing ring wise Ethernet and E1 utilisation plan.
- Plan for dismental links after 3G implementation for further use.
- Plan for High level DCN connectivity with SoEM Server for 2G and 3G towns.
- Knowledge of ATND for ATM and IP 3G sites.
- Plan for Microwave Link and Prepare Link Budget using PATHLOSS 4.0 and Tems Link Planner by deciding parameters such as frequency spot, capacity of link, antenna type, height, polarization, transmitting power and threshold degradation.
- Planning of STM-1 Ring Network in City and Backbone to have a Reliable Network.
- Handling Survey Team.
- Microwave Projections for the additional Site rollouts and Capacity Requirement and enhancement planning.
- Good understanding of transmission equipment of Ericsson.
- PCM Planning, E1 Planning, Frequency Planning For SDH & PDH Routes.
- Designing of a complete Transmission Network, which fulfills all critical requirements of B/W capacity (PDH ,SDH & XPIC), M/W spectrum, and availability as per ITU-T standards.
- Fiber route and MUX planning.
- Planning of transmission Access/Back bone network.
- Monthly E1 indent from BTSOL, TATA, RELIANCE & RAILTEL, as per projection given by Design Team for Rollout.
- Guide the Installation team for implementation of critical Microwave links.
- Plan for suitable repeaters in case of Non availability of LOS for new sites.
- Plan for backup connectivity for the MW links with ring protection to avoid outages.
- Plan for 1+1 for critical links in spur.
- Management of the DCN implementation to integrate supervision of the networks.
- Dimensioning of BSS transmission plan in terms of link capacity requirements in line
with forecasted traffic information (Abis & Ater interface capacities).
- Working on RL Tool software for drawing profiles making the microwave link.
- Supervising the Backbone network planning and extending the network.
- Preparing the BOQ for all transmission equipments depend on Marketing Department plan.
- Maintenance of MAP INFO & Preparing Network Plan on monthly basis..
