Carbonic anhydrase is an enzyme that is present in our body especially in renal tubules,blood,gastro intestinal track.CA converts Carbondioxide and water to bi carbonate ions and protons.These days Gastric ulcers are the major problums in humans.These ulcers are caused due to excess levels of acid in stomach.hence to inhibit the excess production of acid we are using some inhibitors like butea monosperma plant extracts,gutgard,newtree.these can inhibit the activity of the enzyme. Plant extracts are used because they have less side effects and more madicinal properties and values.
