 CGI Roles & Responsibility

- Troubleshooting, configuring and rectifying various Hardware problems.

- Providing technical support/troubleshooting for day to day operation to users on LAN.

- Monitoring, Reacting and troubleshooting the incidents concerning the operating system and Middleware, Hardware on all managed servers.
- Performing Service Requests, RFCs (Request for Change), Change Activities (CA) on managed servers.
- Coordinating with Server Farm team and other groups towards resolution of an incident.
- Monitors and responds to server alert that deviate from established baselines.
- Performs documented scheduled procedures or approved documented incident resolutions.
- Owner of all incidents or service requests. 
- Evenly distributes tasks/requests amongst the members.
- Guides and instructs the members in the group in completing incident resolutions and scheduled procedures.
