Working as a SCM/Warehouse executive since March 2007 in Pantaloons retail I Ltd division of -uture Group – based in Mumbai.
Role & Responsibility
- Designing internal controls for various operational areas and  verification of operational efficiency levels & recommending cost  control measures.
- Analyzing various processes / applications and taking adequate measures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Analysis of losses damages during in transit of goods.

- Ensuring quality packaging to prevent goods from getting damaged in transit.
- Maintaining stocks without any variance by conducting regular stock verifications across the warehouse.
- Time to time analysis of stocks for ageing.
- Implementing inventory control measures to reduce obsolete stock keep  tab on slow-moving items and achieve reduction in inventory management  cost.
- Supervising logistic functions, negotiate with transporters for effective transport solutions.
- Implement distribution plans to ensure availability of products wherever and whenever required.
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards & safety norms in the storage & transportation 
- Conducting gap analysis, assess scope of studies & suggest solutions. 
- Taking care of all the documentation (Outward form and inward form), MIS data and register of warehouse.
- Guiding the set up and customizing of procedures for classification of  various documents. Troubleshooting any problems arising in the process.
- Using SAP (System Applications & Product) operating software for warehouse process.
- Leading, training and monitoring the performance of team members.
Work experience
- Worked as a concept Supervisor with LI-E STYLE INTERNATIONAL (P) LTD  from last 3 years. The Company is in to retailing. (2003 to 2007)
- Two year worked with PVR INDIA Ltd. As Customer Relation Assistant. (2001 to 2003).
- Two & half year worked with PIZZA HUT (I) Ltd. as a crue Member  (US Based Company), which is into hospitality Business. (1999 to 2001)
Technical Qualification
- Advance diploma in electronic and software from JETKING Institute.
- Advance diploma in Hardware and LAN, Window NT, Novell from JETKING Institute.
- 
[B]IT Skills [/B]: Conversant with REM, SAP and MS-Office Applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
