- Ensure all work activities are in conformance with contract requirements,drawings,specifications and method statements. 
- Ensure specifications and drawings are reviewed and clarifications on nuclear issues are obtained.
- Ensure that all contractual/company’s and local authority requirements for Quality,Health Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements are complied with.
- Interaction with QA/QC,HSE,Independent Testing Laboratory,Secondary subcontractors for the same.
- Ensure all necessary submission/approvals and supporting activities needed for smooth and timely execution of construction works.
- Interact with HSE/Safety and ensure all permits are available for works on site and all safety precautions are taken.
- Ensure required inspection and tests are carried out, and completing records of successful completion of works and approvals for hold and witness points identified on the Inspection & Test Plan.
- Ensure adequate training of the people under their control, for the required procedures and specialist applications.
- Ensure material and equipment are requisitioned on time in correct quantities. 
- Ensure safety of all personnel on site, identification of potential hazards.
- Reporting progress to the Construction Manager and Project Manager.
- Ensure Non-Conformance’ if any are closed and taking timely preventive and corrective actions, necessary liaison with QA/QC and HSE department.
- Responsible for keeping As-Built records and ensuring this is reflected on the drawings as work progresses.
- Responsible for incoming quality of received materials and acceptance of same along with the designated storekeeper.
- Responsible for completing of all Punch Items and Project Close Out, Handover Documentation and finalization of all outstanding issues at Handover. 
- Monitoring progress and programme for completion of project within time and cost control.
- Reconciliation of materials on weekly and monthly basis.
- Preparing weekly productivity report. 
- Preparation of bill and approving of work done by sub-contractor. 
- Snagging & de-snagging with client and consultant.
- Carry out any other duties allocated by superiors.
