Project Aim: To Improve Industrial Application.
Scope: This project included process analysis aids in finding better system of doing a job which was achieved by eradicating unproductive and needless elements of process or through modified layout of facilities. The process is analyzed with the help of process charts and flow diagrams.
Outcome: The result of the project includes:
- Originated the feasibility to give the components out on subcontract and reprocess them.
- Suggested to use jigs & fixtures as this will greatly reduce the time required to machine.
- Drill jigs are applied to drill holes for components.
- Every roughing, turning and lifting hole shown in drawing should be performed outside the company as it would reduce operations cycle and time taken in manufacturing.
