Other duties are as stated below in detail. Job Responsibilities: 1) Air Conditioning Cooling Load calculations, Heat Loss calculations following ASHRAE codes. 2) Duct system design, supervision, duct fabrication and installation of the ductwork following SMACNA 2, DW 144 codes. 3) Chilled water pipe design and pump head calculation, selection of chilled water pumps. 4) Site supervision of all Air-conditioning works. 5) Calculation of static pressure of Blowers & Pumps and their selection. 6) Selection of Chillers, AHU’S, FCU’S, Exhaust Fan, Blower and other accessories. 7) Preparation of drawings for A/C equipments and accessories installation. 8) Ensure smooth commissioning of the erected H.V.A.C projects. 9) Ensure that all HVAC site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop drawings, method statements, and specification and work plan. 10) Ensure safe work environments, control the use of material and avoid damages and waste, request material, tools and equipment needed for the projects and issue the foreman daily instructions as per the work plan 11) Maintaining records and archives to company standards 12) Responsible for Preparation of Bill of Quantity of Materials for Projects PLUMBING ENGINEER:- - Sanitary waste/vent, water distribution and storm drainage/retention systems. - Laboratory gases/ special gas manifold piping. - Shop drawings, fixture/equipment specifications, Hydraulic calculation review. - Feasibility and construction reports for potential and current projects. - System complying to International Building Codes, multiple state, city and Municipality variances and amendments. -Direct co-ordination with design build firms, plan reviewers, development, companies contractor, Architects, and owners. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER:- - Knowledge of LOW VOLTAGE (L.V) and LOW CURRENT. -Electrical Power distribution design including Emergency Back-up Power -Lighting design -Energy Conservation measures -Fire Alarm and Mass Communication systems design -Security, CCTV, Voice/Data/Video Communication, Public Address and Clock systems design. FIRE AND FIGHTING ENGINEER:- - Design and implement the complete FIRE-FIGHTING system. - Including Hydraulic calculations, pump selection. - FM 200 design and calculations. -Prepare submittals/shop drawings/As built drawings, and material take off. -Keep a proper documentation for all site activities, submittals, correspondence drawings. -Follow up, co-ordination, Administration and total management of site. -Attend the project management meetings. - Co-ordination of testing and commissioning activities. -Prepare operation and maintenance files.[/QUOTE]
