1. I was a part of SSI’s (Standard Settlement Instructions) process  Pilot batch and the aim of this process is to ensure that all OTC  non-DVP SSI’s are confirmed independently with the client.
 Vital objective of the job profile
- Verifies that SSI’s in PIL template match those in client documentation provided by OTC Client Manager.
- Verifies that call-back process has taken place by checking the confirmation email.
- Approving the wire instructions requests of all the clients/banks of OTC UBS IB.
- Files evidence for SOX purposes.
- Updating the daily, weekly and monthly (Rejections and Approval) reports and send to all the onshore stake holders.
- Resolving all the OTC Client Manager queries/issues on the chat channel.
- Have trained new hire’s in OTC Rates SSI’s Utility Process.

2. Worked for Interest Rates Derivative confirmation team. I deal with  various IR Derivative products, such as FRA, OIS, TRS, Swaption, Xccy  Swap, FX resettable swap etc. This helped me in understanding the  products and their life cycle. Confirmation team comprises of Matching  and drafting team, and I am part of matching team.
Vital objective of the job profile
- To ensure that the deal is confirmed with counterparty (client) and  also settled with necessary confirmation within 15 days from date the  deal commences.
- Team member would represent as Client Manager for the counterparty  that is handled by the individual which involves responding to their  email queries and achieving a resolution on the deals.
- Reviewing and executing trades done between UBS and various Investment Banks.
- Checking of trade documents received from various Counterparties and  ensures that the docs are indexed to the relevant trade that is booked  at our end.
- Investigating and resolving the discrepancies in the trades with the help of Middle Office.
- Liaising with onshore team which in turn is to meet the primary objective of the job.
