M-Tech Project Environment : Xilinx,XPS Platform with System ‘c’ Duration : 10 Months An Efficient Hardware Architecture for Multimedia Encryption and Authentication using the Discrete Wavelet Transform Summary : The project, it provides more security to the multimedia data. So that we can transmit without the problem of hacking. Stegnography and RSA, it is used to hide the secret data in our multimedia data (image) as well as encrypt the multimedia data. The output of steganography is cipher stego image. The parameterized construction of the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) compression block is used to introduce a free parameter in the design In the receiver section, receives compressed image. Then has to apply IDWT to un compress the image. Then we get Stego image. Here comes the need to separate text image and cover image. In order to achieve this, reverse Stegnography and decryption process is applied for collecting cover image and text image. Project Summary #1 Automatic Vehicle locating systems (TRACKER) Feb’2008 to Oct’2009 Type : R & D project (for SSINFORMATICS) Environment : keil ‘C’, ASM51 Role : Team Lead Description : AVLS is a GPS based project, aim of this project is to locate the vehicle (any commercial vehicles like Lorry, truck, etc) and recording each and every movement and condition of the vehicle using marvelous technologies i.e. GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver, GPS receiver will acquire the readings of the almanac data and fix data every second ,that data is collected and stored in the chip using 89C52(Keil ’C’) controller and in turn the controller invokes a command to the modem ,the modem which is already fixed with a GSM based network . The data is carried through the modem and reaches the control centre where it maps the raw data using MAPPING SOFTWARE developed in VB .This provides real-time monitoring of the vehicles and can easily trace the vehicles within seconds. Responsibilities : Analyzing the circuit requirement. Preparing the hardware designing. Designing the Board using Express PCB Coding using assembly language. Worked with AT commands for Modem. Individually checked the performance of the Hardware circuit. Designed the power supply unit for the board. #2 Data Logging systems For Water Level Monitoring Sep’07 to Jan’-08 Type : R & D(SSINFORMATICS) Environment : Assembly (8051), c language Role : Developer Description: The Data logging system can be used to measure water level in irrigation fields, for small canals, and even to monitor sea level at seashore to protect human life’s from disasters like tsunami The system requires data from transducers. Data acquired at regular intervals, analyzed on hazards warns near weather station by generating alarm signals. All serious change over at data acquisitions is also recorded. The system accepts only digital inputs. If transducers output signal it must be converted to digital using AD converters Responsibilities: Analyzing the circuit requirement. Preparing the hardware designing. Designing the PCB using Express PCB Coding using assembly language. Individually checked the performance of the circuit. #3 Packet Sniffer May’07 to Aug’07 Environment : c with Linux Role : Developer Description: The project deals with a packet capture utility and Network monitoring. The project is useful to the Network Administrators to observe each and every Incoming packet for security enhancements. We developed this project in C language and we used socket programming in LINUX operating System. The projects start with RAW socket creation. After creating that socket it will capture the incoming packet. Raw packets are capable enough to capture all types of packets we are using them in this project. We specified separate modules for all types of Protocols, which are explained above. Depending upon the information we distribute the information to a text file. The main program will have an infinite loop, which keeps an eye on each and every incoming packet. The moment it collects that packet it starts invoking respective modules and those modules will internally redirects that information to respective text files. Responsibilities: Anlaysing the Requirement Complete Study about LINUX Preparing the SRS Coding for Socket Creation Involved in C Coding MINI PROJECTS ON VHDL DURING M-Tech Software: VHDL with Xilinx tool #1 UART Serial data is transmitted via its serial port. A serial port is one of the most universal parts of a computer. It is aconnector where serial line is attached and connected to peripheral devices such as mouse, modem, printer and even to another computer. In contrast to parallel communication, these peripheral devices communicate using a serial bit stream protocol (where data is sent one bit at a time). The serial port is usually connected to UART, an integrated circuit which handles the conversion between serial and parallel data. #2 Wallace Tree Multiper #3 ROM ROLE: Coding, simulating, Synthesis Final Year Academic Project in B-Tech (ECIL) Development of Time switch Mux-Demux card using Verlilog HDL Institute : ECIL (IT & TG Block.) Description: As a part of the development activity ECIL is planning to reduce the hardware by incorporating various VLSI desings in the cards used in MAX. MAX (Max Automatic Exchange) iis and automatic exchange ,which has maximum capacity to connect 40k lines. Two types of switching techniques are used namely Time Switch and Space Switching. Responsibilities Study of specification and Funcitons Identification of Various Blocks. Representation of Block Identified in Verilog HDL Prepartion of Test Benches for Testing the Logic Synthesis of the Logic described MINI PROJECT DURING EMBEDDED COURSE (CMC) DEVICE DRIVERS (PIPE DRIVER) Software : C on Vx works Description: Pipes are virtual devices by which tasks communicate with each other through the I/O system. Tasks write messages to pipes; these messages can then be read by other tasks. Pipe devices are managed by pipeDrv and use the kernel message queue facility to bear the actual message traffic. A driver for a non-block device implements the seven basic I/O functions creat( ), remove( ), open( ), close( ), read( ), write( ), and ioctl( )--for a particular kind of device. In general, this type of driver has routines that implement each of these functions. In this project, routines close( ) and remove( ) have been omitted as these functions are not operative with this device. Role Implementation and Verifying of Basic I/O functions using C language on VX works platform. Declaration I here by declare that the above-mentioned information is correct up to my knowledge (Nandini Sasikumar) ------------------------------------------------------- More Information about this submission and submitter:- ___________________________________________________ Submission ID : 4243716 Date & Time : 12th Jun 2011 2:49 PM (UTC) IP Address : 59.92.18.143 Browser Info : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1 Predicted Country : India
