- Inspection of construction and pipeline works as per the contract technical specification and approved shop drawings.
- Approval/disapproval of the works as per the request for inspection.
- Ensuring quality controls of the construction and pipeline works are adhered to.
- Resolving unexpected technical difficulties and subsequently acknowledging the engineer.
- Any other duty as directed by the engineers.

- Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for contractor, crafts people and operatives.
